A snow day in Kentucky!

Tuesday, January 27, 2009

This was our second snow day in a row,  yesterday was pretty pathetic we had about 1/2 inch of snow, but Kentucky is a different world when it comes to dealing with snow.  Today however we woke up to about 5 inches this morning. Finally enough snow to reasonably call a snow day-- actually enough to play in. We enjoyed sledding down our neighbors hill in their back yard and then she invited us in for some yummy hot cocoa.

School is already cancelled for tomorrow because it is currently raining and it is creating a nice layer of ice over everything.  The kids are loving it!

Here are a couple of shots of the cute kiddos enjoying their cocoa!!! Thanks Ms. Debra

Wow, fun times! We too have been having rain/snow. The other day Wayne saw heard about 5 different wrecks on the way to work.

I'd heard about the ice storms on the news. Looks like you are enjoying the snow. Love seeing the posts.
